With great pleasure again everything was great

+ Exciting, lovingly cared for location with great food + We were visiting the area and spontaneously spent the evening here. It was totally recommended. Relaxed, top-notch service, harmonious ambience in the massive eco-wood construction, plus a small but excellent selection of dishes that were very tasty from soup to main course. In terms of price, it is also good and reasonable. We wish the Landhaus and his team very much that they get through these difficult times. -> Who can should make a pleasant detour here as soon as possible again! It will be worth it. In any case, let us say: Thanks for everything and gladly again anytime.

Tonight we went to the Appelbaum for our birthday dinner, it was mega mega delicious, from the starter to the dessert 🎉👍🥂 Wishes are fulfilled, service first class, atmosphere to feel good 👏 worth 5 stars 😉 worth a visit!

Very tasty eaten in a very pleasant environment. Spent an all-round harmonious evening for two. Hopefully time for it again soon.

Fantastic food and great service. Cozy atmosphere

We were there spontaneously on Friday evening and were really surprised. Reservation without problems, and the lady on the phone very friendly, arrived we were warmly welcomed and were allowed to take a seat. Nice ambience, very friendly and attentive waiter, the food was also very tasty and fresh, and above all sufficient, we would like to go there again at any time to eat and linger.

Worth a visit. Very good kitchen! We sat in the garden and felt very comfortable.

My husband and I are always looking for a nice restaurant when we are on a trip or on vacation. The Appelhaus was pure coincidence and an unbelievable experience. We really liked it and we would recommend it to everyone to eat here. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere is also available. Full 5 stars.

Great restaurant with a manageable menu, but the dishes are at least unusual and excellently cooked for a country house in Hesse. We also really liked the decor - especially the glass roof.

The food was delicious and the service was very friendly. But: the portions were very small, so we weren't full. When we asked for some bread, we got four pigs without comment. But afterwards they were charged 2 euros without prior notice. That is not how it works. Pity!

We were many years ago in the Landhaus Appelbaum and finally made it there on our vacation !! And that despite a short-term reservation! The country house offers a wonderful atmosphere, both outside and inside. The food is highly recommended and the hospitality commendable! We were eating in the Appelbaum restaurant today. The quality & the taste of the dishes were very good. The wine also tasted very good. We were served very friendly and felt very comfortable. All in all, we were very happy. Thank you!

One of the best places in the area to have great local food. The hole place has a very fine atmosphere and reflects the typical German countryside. The salat is amazing, as well as the rest of the menu. The owners are often around and open for a chat. They care a lot for this place and we did enjoy the love and care put in every plate.

AMAZING FOOD. We found this hidden gem while visiting edersee. The owners realised we didn't understand German and found a lady to translate for us (this unexpected act of kindness went a really long way). Beautifully decorated, traditional German food, great atmosphere and pork with THE BEST peppercorn sauce i have tasted in my life. 10/10 would definitley recommend!! Thank you 😁
